Sleep Number CLI (Synchrony) - Approved

My wife and I got a new bed about a year ago and we used the Sleep Number credit card to finance the bed. My wife and I got a substantial raise to our incomes and would like to ask for a CLI. This is our first joint account and I'm unsure what to put for the income. Also, is the CLI request a soft pull? We are planning on applying for a mortgage early next year and want to limit HP. Any data points would be appreciated.

It depends which bank is doing the financing for Sleep Number, Can you provide which lender or bank this is through?

Thanks for the response. They use Synchrony Bank. I called a CSR and asked them. Got approved for 3K CLI. CLI was a SP.👍🏼

Grats on your sleep number CLI. I worked mine up to 15k in 6 months. I have no other synchrony cards, so I'm not especially worried about being shut down.

@Anonymous Getting a new mattress or wanted a CL bump? Reason being there's anecdotal evidence that if you tell CSR you need a particular # to shop they may raise CL to match. Now this may be a mere coincidence.

Thanks for the insight. I just wanted to get a CLI to lower utilization on the card a bit. I plan to pay it off in the next six months or so. I will definitely try for another CLI and tell the CSR I want to purchase something. I'll shoot for the moon and see if it lands.😂

Thanks for the info! I just logged on and asked for a CLI and they raised mine from $10,500 to $20,000. This was probably the #1 drag on my scores currently since the card was showing over 92% utilization.

Congratulations on the CLI! It's crazy how a click of a button can massively lower the utilization on the card. I will ask at least every six months from here on out.👍🏼 Once again, congratulations on that massive CLI. Synchrony must be in a good mood. I have three cards with Synchrony (Care Credit, Synchrony Home, and Sleep Number) and in the span of three months I have asked for CLI on all my accounts. All have been approved and have increased my CLI by 45k across all cards. It's crazy! Haha
