Lowes Approval & CLI to 15K!

Was approved for a Lowes card, my second Synchrony card. A little disppointed with only an $800 SL but i understand from here

it can grow quickly. Any suggestions on how and when to request a CLI? FYI- I had to make a selfie video and send photos of my ID.

Had to call in for approval. I'd like to grow this to $10-20K.

Congrats on the approval! It's usually recommeneded to wait 6 months before making a CLI request.

Grats on the approval and I would give Credit Solutions a call when you get the card and tell them you need a higher limit, ask for 10k.

I would ask for a reconsideratation (I believe it is 866.519.6441) before I wait month for a SP CLI, they can be very generous

My Mom got a Lowe's card with a $500 limit in Mar of 2020. She has been getting CLI's about every 3 months and that card now sits at $11,000 CL.

As with most Synchrony cards, Lowes grows FAST. Got mine last Oct ($2 or $2.5k SL - if I recall correctly) and my CL is now $30k with maybe $2-3k spend since getting it. Never carried a balance. It's a great card with that 5% and is great to bump up your overall available credit for sure. Congrats!

I applied for the Lowes card yesterday and was approved for an $800 SL. After reading on here about how generous Synchrony

can be with the Lowes card, I wanted a CLI. I called today and explained to the rep I was hoping for a larger starting limit for a

remodel project. She asked my income and what credit line I wanted, so I said $15,000. She put me on hold and came back and

said "congraulations your credit line increase to $15,000 was approved and is immediately avaialble for use" I was so excited and would have never gotten it without the education from this forum. Hope this helps other people.

Awesome!!! Congrats on your very successful CLI. I don't know what they were thinking anyway, $800 buys almost nothing these days.
