I might need to get a better desk in the future and more padding for my profile, so in preparation for that time or any other time where I need decent furniture, I decided to look at some options there. Synchrony had a lot of cards in that vein but they are quite stingy for me atm and I could forget about Wells Fargo for the most part, so I remembered my Samsung approval from earlier this month and decided to give another one of their cards a go. I stumbled on the Ethan Allen card.

I applied, got a pending message telling me to call them. There was a super nice rep who walked me through getting me verified through a text message through my phone, and she welcomed me and said I had been approved for $5,700! This is one of my highest limit cards to date. I couldn't be happier right now for sure. She also gave me my account number. Again, it's so weird that TD Bank is so generous on any of their cards that I didn't burn, but still to this day won't approve any of my Nordstrom applications. BTW, my mom apped for that card and got a pending message with a number to call them so I have a feeling that's an approval for her for sure!

It made me curious about TD Bank's regular card offerings, but unfortunately, I'm outside of their area and kept getting this message saying I'd need to call them if I wanted to apply for any of those banking products where I live. But yeah, the retail side of things is quite generous imo.

I'm fortunate enough to live in TDBank's region and landed the secured version of their TDCash card last year after my Chapter 13 discharge; this is easily one of the best secured card offerings on the market as it pays interest on the security deposit, rewards on your purchases, and graduates after only six months of good behavior. As icing on the cake for those of us who can swing max $5,000 security deposit, the instant the card graduated to unsecured it also graduated to a Signature VISA and now a year into it, per my local banker, the card is eligible for a CLI should I so request it (I have no need and probably won't).

Next year after my wife and I apply for a mortgage, I will most likely apply for their TD Double Up card; I have been that pleased with their customer service and their product offerings.
