Disco CLI 9 months in!

When I first got this card they had the rule that you had to have the card for 1 year before requesting a CLI. I heard they may have lifted that so I tried my luck and they gave me +1k ! I'll take it. 4,500 to 5,500.

Only put about $325 on it this month.

Congratulations!

I tried a CLI on their website yesterday but was denied. I'm not surprised really since I'm only ~6mo since approval, just wanted to spin the wheel.

EDIT: Got the letter on 7/24 which states "INSUFFICIENT EXPERIENCE WITH CURRENT DISCOVER CREDIT LIMIT"

I've noticed a few others recently receiving a CLI within a year.

Maybe Discover has moved on from that?

Looks like their policy of no increase on asking for CLI until 1 yr passes is no more.

Congrats on the increase! it must be the weather because I did a similar thing yesterday -- after getting auto-increased from 2k to 4k earlier this year -- and they bumped me up another $1,500 so...that's rad.

Yeah I'm putting most of my spend on it this cycle and hopefully after next statement cut they'll show me more love!
