Synovus Travel Rewards Visa - approval

Decided to finally pull the trigger on this card.. Intended to app for it the day I opened a checking account with them but it was too late in the day and I'd just gotten my amex plat cs so my immediate travel expense was sated with the new amex.

The website online app has issues with multiple addresses so a "Senior Relationship Specialist" took over for me.

(the online app was populating the form with residential address with no way to choose my billing address, or edit the form.. despite their docs stating that using one of the other 2 (non-login credentials) methods to confirm account ownership with them would allow editing)

Anyhow, thus far I see no HP anywhere from them but have been approved for $8k -- no APR or Cash Advance info was included on the approval email.

edit: cash advance limit = $4,000.00 & an EQ HP showing on 7/21 @ couple sites now -- card arrived 7/29

purchases, balance xfers, checking acct. overdraft protection option

0.00% Introductory APR for the first six (6) months. After that, your APR will be 9.24%, 12.24% , 15.24%, or 21.24% based on your creditworthiness and other factors.

Cash advance rate is 24.24% -- Both APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate.

I'm okay with the limit, after all it's an approval.. However I did send them a message via the website as sort of a recon attempt at getting the CL increased.

Basically telling them that I'd rather not switch to another card or payment cycle the account while abroad and that >economy class seats and refundable tickets could tap out the card before I even get all the tickets or the destination(s).

edit: got a reply the other day on the CLI recon message I sent -- "Unfortunately, we do not have access to the credit card information here online, however, if you call our card services at 1-888-796-6887 option 4, they can assist you with that there."

..I decided to just move along and be happy with the new choice of card.
