USBank Cash+ 5k CLI via Luv Button

Thanks to everyone on this site for sharing such valuable information! I received a 5k instant cli increase on my Cash+ yesterday after clicking the "luv" button. I have not yet received a hard pull notification. This is my oldest card at 14+ years.

Perhaps the rebuilders will take comfort knowing the cash+ started as a secured card over 14 years ago, then it graduted to platinum. I PCd platinum to make it a cash plus a few years ago thanks to info on this site. Now it's a solid 5 digit card with decent rewards. I also have a 2nd card cash plus that is 11+ years old. After the CLI, both cards have the same limit. In the past few years I have only used the cards for the 5% categories.

I tried the luv button on my 2nd cash+ after the 5k approval and was denied. I've read that this could result in a delayed hard pull, but I can fade that.

I feel very lucky to benefit from all the knowledge on this site. I try to pass it on by helping friends and family with their credit problems. Cheers and good luck to all of you!

Congrats on a nice Cash+ CLI and all of your success! Thanks for sharing all of your DPs, too. Certainly you cannot actually mean 6 figures? As in a Cash+ with greater than $100,000 limit?

Congrats on your CLI. You likely won't see a HP on the declined CLI card. I too attempted to increase a 2nd card after successfully increasing the 1st. It was a SP. The decline reason was simply that I needed use the card. I put a little spin on it and attempted a few weeks later. Successfully got a SP CLI on the 2nd Cash+. Did you get a reason for the decline yet?

Thanks very much for the well wishes and the hope for a non-hard pull! I did not get a reason as of yet. I think the verbage said they would send a letter. I could get the same denial reason that you got. I went ahead and put some charges on it today.
