Approved for barclay arrival/denied for cli

Instant approved for barclay arrival AF version, for $5,000. With 18 inqs in the last 6 months and 13 new accounts in the last 6 months. I called and asked for a CLI to $10k, and they did ANOTHER HP, and said they cannot extend any more credit to me due to the recent inqs and new accounts. "How long should i wait to call back and ask for a CLI", "I am not sure" he says. Gave me no more info except for "NO" and that was it.

Congrats on your approval and sorry to hear about the CLI denial. Since it was another HP for the CLI, call them back and talk to a different analyst and have them use the same HP to recon!

Congrats on the approval! Sorry about the 2nd pull though. You didn't ask, but I would think waiting 6 months in the garden to let things stabilize would be good before asking for CLI.

Congrats! Your lucky they didn't close your account. They are very inquiry and new TL sensitive. I would wait a minimum of 6 month and at that time they may give you an auto CLI.

I think that calling them to begin with was a mistake. Some of those Analysts at Barclay's are just plain nasty.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if they close your account now. Barclay's is batshiz cray!

I have had excellent experiences with the Arrival card so far though!!!! The Customer service seems to be trying to compete with CSP, although I really don't think it could beat it LOL
