I am past 5 years the bk record on my report with 250k in available credit

16% Utilization

After burning Citibank with over 20k in the past I decided to take the risk and apply and see if They will let me in back did the Application it went to review I called in the back number they asked me for verification they called back my number to verify it's my number

Then he comes back afte a hold of 5 min he says congratulation your approved for $8000

Just pulled all 3 reports I see they pulled Equifax only So I wonder if that's the reason I got approved because of my Equifax it never showed my bankruptcy

Just to add i pulled all three credit reports now I saw they pulled Equifax which I think is unique because they always pull Experian I wonder if that's the reason I got approved because on Equifax it never showed my bankruptcy

Also How is citi with credit line increase?

Wowsers!!! Way to go!! I am seven years into my BK7, which did not include Citi with no baddies ever since, so I will now start dreaming about applying for a Citi card in January 2022. Good for you!!

Congratulations. That's the most popular card this year, people doesn't stop talking about it; almost as legendary. 💪

Limit increases are soft pulls and Citi is very generous at granting them. They allow you to request every 6 months, last one for me was 2,5k but that was over a yr w'o asking.

I think it's great they let you back in and with such a great SL. I'd love to be back in when my BK is 5yrs old.
