Hello MF, Haven’t been on much lately. I am taking care of my 80-year old Mom and my 9-year old granddaughter who are both high risk during this pandemic. I have been gardening and not applying for anything. Especially since I had to do some major repairs to my car. The cards came in handy. On Sept 4th I logged into my PenFed Savings and noticed the PenFed Gold Visa instead of the tax service in that little box. I thought about it and decided to try to get in that door. I was instantly approved for $7500.00 with an APR of 17.99. APR isn’t great, but I was trying to get in and I accomplished that. A few years ago they would have laughed me out the door. Thanks to you guys I was approved. I may use this for gas and pay it off. Product approved and Limit - PenFed Visa Gold $7500 EQ Fico Score - 736 Penfed Nextgen Score - Not Sure AAOA: 1.5 years Derogs: 0 Total EQ Inquiries: 5 Last 12 months: 2 Last 6 months: 1 New Accounts in last 12 months: 2 Last 6 months: 1 Last 6 months - 1 New Accounts in last 12 month -2 Last 6 months - 1 Be careful out here everyone. Thanks again for all the help I received. I think I’m going to cut Cap1 in the next few months. Cap1 remains my only toy limit $700.

I think it's cool you got an offer! I think that their offers mean you didn't get a HP to open...correct?

PenFed does do EQ HP's for CLI's and their Gold Card is supposed to be their "Low Rate" card so perhaps you'll see some improvement in the future!

I was hoping no hard pull, but it did show up. I almost applied for the Power Cash Rewards. I read that they used the same hard pull for 90-days, but I was afraid I would get another pull.

At least I didn’t get denied and a hard pull.
