AMEX PLATINUM AND BCP AFTER BLACKLIST!🎉

Back in 2013, being newly separated and a one income home with my newborn, I was seriously struggling to pay my ZYNC AMEX every month and I had to let it chargeoff. The negative account fell off June 2020 and shortly after I was prequalified for the cobranded cards (delta gold and Hilton aspire) and I applied with an immediate denial without a hard pull. That's when I realized I was on the dreaded blacklist. I searched through many posts on this forum to see if there was any redemption to getting back in their good graces and most of the posts I seen showed members PIF or settled the chargeoff. I called AMEX around 8/13 to settle the account for 40% and quickly paid it. The Rep from

the blacklist number stated I could apply in 35 days. Fast forward to today 9/7 I decided what the heck and applied for the Platinum and I was approved⚡️⚡️! I read posts stating a charge and revolver approval on the same day so I applied for the BCP and I was approved⚡️⚡️! SL was lower than expected ($1k) but I was very grateful to even get approved. Then an hour later, I jumped back on the forums and saw a comment about someone getting 2 revolvers in one day so I said screw it and applied for Delta Reserve and was approved with $3700 SL⚡️⚡️!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I'm active duty so I quickly called CSR to request to get my annual fees waived and my APRs lowered to 6% due to SCRA 😁 and I should get a response in 30 days. Once I get the approval, I'll update this post.

I say this to say, there really IS hope after the black list🥺

Congrats! Any DP's to share? Those are the 3 same Amex cards I also want although I haven't decided yet between the Delta Plat or Reserve. Will app late next week after my scores update and report back.
