PENFED Power Cash Rewards Visa Approval!!

I needed to get a personal loan today and I prequaled through PENFED and was approved for 10k. They pulled Experian with 650 fico. I then thought that maybe they would use the same inquiry for a CC so I apped for the Platinum Rewards Card. First off, they pulled my equifax. I wasnt too mad because it was good it wasn't the same bureau. The processing of the application took unusually long, about three minutes. I then got an email saying that they could not approve me. Way down below it said we have a conditional offer where we can approve you for the Power Cash Rewards Visa with a 2K limit @17.99%. I said hell yes and thank you very much. Penfed has been very good to me today. Im thinking about opening a checking account to get the extra .5% in rewards and also switching my business over the Wells Fargo

I haven't updated my sig in a bit but here is my profile. Had I known it was another pull from equifax, I wouldve waited, but still, im not mad at the results.

Income $94k

fico 635

33% usage among 5 credit cards. CL $12500

6 charge offs from my divorce. Last one was paid off in januray 21

1 unpaid collection account from 2018. paying it off soon.

I've seen quite a few posts stating that this card can definitely grow with good usage.
