Another Nordstrom CLI! 5K total

I'm thrilled. I've had my Nordstrom card for about 2 years and have kept an overall low balance and perfect payment history. I called today to see if they would bump my CL to 5K. She had me on hold for a few minutes and came back to see they've increased my limit to 5K! My goal is to apply for the Visa card in 6-8 months but will gladly take my retail card being at 5K. This is now my highest limit card and feels really great after working so hard on my credit for the past few years.

Congrats on reaching the 5K mark with your Nordstrom store card. I received my first Nordy cli back in July and am looking forward to my next one after my 1 year anniversary next month.

@Anonymousgood luck with your card! My intitial SL was 1500, then 2000, then 3500 (2 months ago) and now 5K. With perfect history it'll grow quickly!

@GrandBay when I started contributing to the Fico forums in June 2021 (16 months ago) my scores were:

June 2021

- Experian 586

- Equifax 551

- TransUnion 609

My goal is still 700, but have some work to do over the next 6 months by gardening and letting new accounts age. The bump in CL will help my overall profile.

October 2021 Fico 8 Scores

- Equifax 608

- Transunion 650

- Experian 631

Your Equifax scores seem to lag the others

@GrandBay June 2020. Equifax has one more collection account (2) my others only have (1) that's the only reason I can see why it's lagging. I've also lost about 20 points for new accounts / balances that I'm working on paying down to see if my scores will go up. Made a lot of progress but still have about 50 - 75 points I'm trying to gain.
