Capital One CLI - Unsolicited

So today I get a random email saying one of my Platinum cards is being increased to $2750 from $1250. Woo hoo! ... But I did not request it...

I have 4 credit cards, and savings account with Capital One. 2 Platinum ($950, $1250), 1 Business Spark ($600 CL), 1 Walmart($500 CL). I have had these cards for about 10 years, except the Spark, I got it last year. I got them when my credit was not the best, hence the low limits. I am still learning a lot so I had never asked for an increase until 2 years ago.

About 2 weeks ago I requested a CLI for my business line and they gave me a $100 CLI. My utilization fluctuates on these cards because of the low limits, except the business account is paid off every month. So I was shocked when they only gave me $100.

My credit profile is locked at all 3 bureaus so this feels really random but I will take it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. On October 9th, I received an auto CLI from Capital One on my Quicksilver from a CL of $800 to $2,300. I made a post about it this weekend. On October 10th, I saw a new thread where the OP received a very large auto CLI.
