Cold apped throught their website as the sub is 90,000 miles and 10,000 MQM's. Fico Ex 8 is 738- util is 2% and income is 6 figures, was needing a decent travel card without the huge annual fee- gave me the 24 hour notice. I wonder if it's the address as I just moved into a new house 30 days ago but we'll see.

Approved for $10k SL, does AMEX do the 3x CLI on co-branded cards as well and if so is it 6 months wait? Mod ok to move to approvals

Congrats @MauiMan85297 !

As long as you have not had a CLI on another Amex card in the last 6 months, you can ask for 3x at 61 days.

So it would be 6 months from last CLI at the 61 day mark of your new card.

Just keep in mind 3x are not always a 100% guarantee. It is a very much YMMV type thing!

Also you can move some CL's around from another card too!

Congrats! I don't think we have any evidence that Amex has different CLI policies for co-branded cards.

+1 to what @M_Smart007 said, but don't be surprised if they won't go all the way to $30k right away. There's a whole thing with income verification when you get to that level. You've got two months to read up on that topic if you're interested. The TL;DR version is that $25k is a much easier limit to attain from where you are, and then $5k CLIs every 6 months thereafter.

Congrats on the Delta. Unless you have had any other AMEX CLI's in the last 180 days, it is 61 days from approval for most people to request 1st CLI. Some nail it right away though, YMMV of course. Thanks for the DP's by the way!

Congrats. 3x CLI applies to cobranded. If you haven't been denied an increase in the last 90 days, or approved in the last 180, you can ask immediately, even before you get the card.

Now that I have the card and activated should I ask for 3x CLI now or wait the 6 months?
