Another rare pickup for me. Received an invite to check my rate. Got a preapproval for $15,000. Filled in info and approved. Took a 30+ point drop after paying off car and getting a 50k personal loan. Originally unlocked TU before starting preapproval process as I think they pull TU. EX and EQ was on ice. Application went under review. Immediately put TU on ice. Received approval notice 15 minutes later. I have credit wise from capital one and TU credit monitoring. Both normally send an alert within minutes of a TU pull. Four hours later and still no TU alert. This will be interesting if it turns out to be a soft pull approval.

The HP will come eventually. I got this card back in April and unless something has changed since then--they do HP for this card. Not sure if you're aware--but they don't report the entire CL to the bureaus--only the amount you draw from it. And it reports as a personal loan. I have the 1.5% cash back version with a 9.97% APR if I use autopay. And they just recently released a 2.2% CB version which I'm also pre-approved for for $9k--but with a 12.xx APR--which I probably won't accept. Which version did you get? BTW--Congrats!

Thanks for the info. I'm curious as to if they have done the HP already because TU is on ice now and will stay that way. My TU HP's normally pop right up on my TU and Creditwise monitoring sites within 10 to 15 minutes. Based on the information you provided, if the HP comes later and I'm on ice and they decide to close, I'll be ok with that. I got the whopping 20.9% APR which isn't material to me as I would never carry a balance on the card anyway. So if I never draw from it, does anything report? How I do my cards now is to use them after the statement closes and then pay them off before the next statement hits (If I choose not to carry a balance).

I was preapproved with a softpull for $15K on the same day with 16.99 APR. Bankruptcy discharged in March 2021. After I continued the application I was notified of the Transunion hardpull.

That's the thing, I still haven't received an alert from TU. My creditwise from Capital One shows an updated TU alert dated today for something else. I'm anxious to see what happens.
