I apply for Barclays card, because I'm planing on using miles for the next trip, got the usage message, call this number 1 866 408 4064 then was approuved for....... $2100 with $99 annual fees, has it is required to spend $3K to get 50k miles, I requested a CLI so 1 more HP (Transunion) and declined (we need to see more usage before......**bleep**) The lowest card I ever got

DP FICO8 769/ fico9 773 (They don't care) 6/24 new acc and inq Barclay is unbelievable- beware- no value for HP

Appl for Citi $15k on spot

CLI are HP, won't settle for pennies and waste of HP , maybe good for starter or rebuilder . definitly terminated my relationship with them not for the sub

@blackfines1 i received the same sl on an aviator red card luckily my HP did yield an increase to 10K. maybe call back and try to get someone else and plead your case that it will not be conducive to your spending needs and that all other cards are over this amount.

Barclays is a UK bank, its not on solid ground at the moment with Brexit IMO, lots of financial turmoil going on with it and it affects its US card operations. Grats on your approval Just push them payments if you need to in order to meet the spend.

Sorry about the low SL, but congratulations on even being approved. Barclays is an odd duck and it's the most difficult bank to deal with (IMO). Just work on the SUB and hopefully they will increase the CL down the road

What international route can you fly with a credit line that small on Emirates ?

Basic economy ??

So did you end up closing the Emirates CC or are you still keeping it open to earn the SUB @blackfines1?

Nope, not for some banks @4sallypat

Some WE can be had for as low as $500 SL - banks like Citi, USB, Capital One, Barclays (on some cards), etc.

Lol cant go nowhere with that low line , maybe couple of wine bottle.........

keep this one open for now to get the sub, already have 97K miles on emirates plus 50k miles from barclays 147k miles , will be able to get 2 business class ticket for free value maybe $8k
