2 new Chase Approvals (Sapphire Preferred and Amazon)

So I was in the garden for awhile after opening a bunch of cards back in 2019. I recently got back below 5/24 all the way down to 1/24 in August. I got my first Chase card in September which I made a post about. They approved me for the Freedom Flex with a $21,000 limit. I've heard a lot of people recommend waiting at least 3 months in between Chase applications so they don't end up shutting down my accounts. I decided after a month passed to go for my 2nd Chase card and got an instant approval for the Sapphire Preferred card with an $18,400 in October. Another month passed since my last application so I decided to go for the Amazon Prime card. This one didn't get an instant approval. I got the letter about calling in to verify. After several hours on hold with Chase I was finally able to confirm my application and got another approval of $21,000.

So that's 3 Chase cards in 3 months.. I am going to chill out now for awhile and hopefully none of these accounts get shut down by Chase. I am at 4/24 now until January 2023 where I drop to 3/24. I'm thinking to wait a few more months and get my last Chase card (maybe some business cards before then). My last Chase card will probably be the Freedom Unlimited to get another year of 5% back on groceries (currently have that through my Flex).

My stated income on my applications have all been $250,000 so that puts my total exposure with chase at $60,400 or 24% of my income. Credit scores are all in the 750 range and have 8-11 inquires on each report.

I would hit the garden for a while and not apply for any other credit.

As Chase will be Soft Pulling your reports and checking on you!

Congrats to you...very solid approvals from Chase. I would definitely lay low for a while (a good 6 - 12 months), if I were you.
