Affinity FCU Cash Rewards Visa Approval $25,000

Followed a few others in joining Affinity and was waiting to see what offers I would receive after the first of the year but started reading that even with offers, I would still get a EX HP if accepted so decided there's no time like this present.

@cashorcharge Congratulations! I really love the personal touch you get with this CU.

@Relatxbles They do have preapprovals, once you're in! But you will still have to take the HP to get in (unless that has changed recently). Their underwriting is pretty understanding if you have a blemish or two. I just called them up and asked about credit products, they are fairly transparent.

Congrats on the nice approval. Affinity has outstanding customer support. The lady we dealt with just was first class in helping us set everything up for my wife and me. Their savings account gives 2% for the first $2500, so we both have it for 2% on $5000. which is great for the money you want to keep readily available. Like they say, just keep your eggs all over not all in one nest, lol. AOD has similar savings account with a really good yield as well.

@greatscott85That is not the case anymore, my wife and I joined them and there was no HP for joining them and just opening a savings and checking account. Now to join AOD it is an HP. My first application was denied because I had EQ frozen, lol
