My yearlong spree & CLI On FNBO Evergreen Personal

I thought I'd share my auto CLI on my FNBO Evergreen card just a few days ago. I have 3 FNBO cards currently and FNBO has been very good to me as well as me to them... lol.

I have these cards:

Farm & Fleet Mastercard: $1900 SL

FNBO Personal Evergreen: $14,000 SL

FNBO Business Evergreen: $15,000 SL

I applied for the accounts in that order and got the first one in December 2020 686 EX, the personal Evergreen in June 2021 713 EX, and the business Evergreen in September 2021 729 EX and 705 EQ. The last card I received two hard pulls from Experian and Equifax.

A couple weeks ago, I requested a CLI on the first card and was denied over the phone. She told me I could still possibly get one but it would require a hard pull to which I declined. Hell to the no. I haven't used the Mastercard much ever since I got the evergreen cards because they are much better cards.

Then while looking at my credit reports the other night, I seen a credit limit increase come in for the FNBO personal card of $1400 for a total of $15,400. I'll take it, even though it isn't a very big increase, I'm very happy with FNBO and how they've handled everything and how proactive they have been lately. I really can't say enough good things about them.

i've been on quite the unbelievable spree this last year and I have got eight or nine cards. I have also got the flagship card from Navy Federal with a $17,300 SL on Sept 21, 2021 too. I think all of that has helped my scores raise some and I am currently at 729 at Experian, 751 at Trans Union and 759 at Equifax.

I always get so much information from reading everyone's posts here that I wanted to post to let them know mainly about my CLI from FNBO as I haven't read about too many of those lately, if any. And also to post some of the data points that I had noted along the way in case it helps somebody else. if anybody has any specific questions that I did not post I'll be glad to answer if I know.

congrats... I recently appd 12/23 after being prequalifed for 2 cards $15K. I pulled the trigger and got the 7-10 message. Called was told to wait for letter. can you share your approval process?

Thank you! I hope I’m not misunderstanding your question, but here is what happened with me. Both times that I applied for the personal/business Evergreen cards, I had to wait to hear back from them and it was not an instant approval. Both times, they wanted some information from me that I didn’t think was too invasive. It could be that when you receive your letter, they will ask for a document or 2 for something that they could not verify. For the personal card I faxed in my last 2 years W-2 forms and for the business card he wanted me to verify some info because I had recently done a business corporation name change which is totally understandable. I thought the approvals came quick after I had sent them what they wanted.

This is just my thoughts on it, but if you want both Evergreen cards, I would not app for both very close together. I would get one and wait at least 3-4 months at the minimum before I went for the other one, depending on your personal credit profile. I also had some decent usage on my cards before applying for my business Evergreen (my last FNBO card).

When I got my mail today, I noticed a letter in there from FNBO. When I opened it, it was a letter notifying me of my credit limit increase and letting me know all the wonderful ways I can spend with my Evergreen card.

I don’t think I’ve heard of too many of these on the forum yet so I thought I would post a pic as I bet a lot of you will be getting these as well. I remember applying for this one sometime in May and getting the card around 06-07-20, so they might be doing them right around the 6 month mark… I hope we see many posts of these in the near future from other forum members here!
