Huge Chase Auto CLI on two cards

Just logged in today to check out my Chase offers and noticed two accounts had HUGE auto CLIs this month. Chase Auto-CLI'd my Amazon Visa from $6k to $30k and my World of Hyatt Visa from $6k to $30k. I have had the Amazon card since 6/14 and think I have previously received one auto-cli on that card and it was from $5k to $6k, and I have had the Hyatt card since 4/16 and have maybe received one auto-cli previously, but I can't recall. If I did, it was nothing significant... maybe $1k.

Anyway, not sure why Chase would decide to increase each line of credit by $24k, but they did. I have no need for 30k in credit at Amazon, and I only use that card for purchases there, unless there is some random offer that intices me to use it elsewhere. Likewise, I only use the Hyatt card for Hyatt stays, unless there is an offer. Regardless, thought I'd share this info. I've always heard Chase is stingy with auto-CLIs, but perhaps they are loosening up a bit.

I also have the Chase Southest Priority card and the CSP, both with $6k credit limits. I might wait a few months and then move some of this available credit to the other cards, perhaps split it down the middle where each has an $18k credit limit.

Wow, that's awesome. Auto increases are already rare with Chase, and to increase by that much?! That's pretty much unheard of! Congrats!

Congrats. Since it is very rare, you are possibly the selected person of this quarter by Chase to receive an auto CLI

Congratulations on those huge increases.

It has become less rare for the Chase Amazon Visa cards. After it was reported that Amazon was shopping around for possible alternatives to Chase, the Chase Amazon card has become very generous with auto-CLI's.

I haven't heard the same for the Hyatt card.

Interestingly I have those 2 cards, and my limits on them are around the same as yours. 30k on Amazon and 29k on Hyatt. And I too use them, but not a tremendous amount.

Did you recently update your income information with Chase, either online or over the phone? If so, did your income level increase?

My income did increase significantly in March, and I likely updated it shortly after that time. Certainly before I applied for the CSP in August. So, it could be related to that...
