X1 Approval

Finally got the invite earlier this week after a couple of months on the waiting list. The application was glitchy but landed at 37k approval. Once I accepted it resulted in a hard pull on EX. Already liking the boost offers that pop up as I can use the card in apple pay without yet receiving the card. Pretty neat!

Congrats! Their shipping time on the card isn't the best by any means (and shipped to wrong address for me so I still don't have mine), but the immediate access to the card number is great. Plus you can create virtual cards immediately as well if you want to split some things off that way (was one of the things that made me pull the trigger on my app).

I though I got my card within a week.

I wonder if it is the region you are in. But of course the wrong address is not good.

I got approved the 6th, was supposed to be delivered the 11th which I guess isn't as bad as I was remembering, only 3 business days. But when the big boys are dong next day air on their signature cards and X1 is flaunting itself as the next big thing, it seems slow (easily explained by the lack of $400 AF though).

Ya, I see the comparison now.

I appreciate that many more issuers are allowing the digital cards on the phone before you get the actual card. This has really pushed me to add more cards to my apple wallet and use that more.
