Keypoint CU Platinum Cash Rewards

Heard about this SF Bay area CU from @M_Smart007 . Even though I live in Southern CA, I was able to join using my Santa Clara Co. based employer. Needing a car for my youngest DD, I went auto loan shopping and they have a SP pre-qual. Got the auto loan easy-peasy and the CSR asked if I wanted a $20K SL Platinum Rewards Visa 0%/9months and $12.99% while we were at it.

I doubt anyone here would've turned that down

@AverageJoesCredit, If you ever come to the mainland, I'll tell KPCU you're my little brother and see if you say no . (Or we can both go in as @M_Smart007 's influenced, adopted children!

The CSR did ask how I heard about them and I told her about MyFico and 007's success with them. She said they get a bunch of people from Credit Karma that try to join without being eligible for membership (I've never seen them on CK though?). I told her I made sure my employer qualified me before trying to join.

They are now accepting anyone who joins the Financial Fitness Association. Similar to Patelco and First Technology.
