American first credit union CLI

Refinanced my auto loan with them about 10 months ago at 3.4% Apr. also acquired a credit card with the same pull but they were only able to approve me for $1500. I was dissappointed considering I have much higher limits.

anywho, fast forward to last month I decided to hit them up for a new credit card. They hard pulled experian and denied it. I then asked for a personal loan trying desperately to get something out of that hard pull. They denied that as well. Yesterday I applied for a credit limit increase on my current card that it at 1500SL. I asked for $15,000 honestly with no hopes of it going through. They called me this morning and approved the request!! They used the same hard pull from last month. Exp Fico was 721 at time of pull, 8 inquiries in the last 12 months and 10 new accounts in the last year. Sometimes perseverance pays off 😃. Now off to the garden for real!! Congrats! I love America First myself very much!!! They've been sooooo good to me and glad that they're treating you well too!

They definitely reuse HP's as well which is awesome! They did for me too!

If you don't mind me asking, are you inside their footprint (A state with America First branches like Utah or Nevada) or are you outside of their footprint? I'm in Minnesota myself waaaaay outside of their footprint and they allowed me to join which was amazing!!!

I just got approved with America First Credit Union for their platnium card, $6000 limit at 8.74 rate, I joined and applied at the same time, pulled Experian Fico 09, score 702, I am 24 months from discharged chapter 7 bankruptcy, I had 50 inquiries last 24 months, lots of new accounts in the last 12 months, at least 10 new accounts, 5% credit card debt, my income is $115,000 per year, house paid off, it took 2 days before someone to call me, asked for proof of income, paystubs for last 30 days

that's not all, fort sill fcu $5000 limit 11.9%, communications fcu $10,000 limit 12.9%, penfed cu gold card $6000 limit 15.45%, penfed cash rewards $7500 limit 16.99%, greenstate cu $10000 11.9%

They're actually based in Utah and have branches in a few other states as well like Nevada and Arizona.
