PenFed Power Cash Approved $2000 SL

Been building my credit for a year. Originally joined PenFed last year with a very dirty EQ report. After disputing all negatives and waiting some time I went from 518 to 746.

Instantly Approved For $2000 SL and just applied again (same day) for the gold card which is under review.

Below is my EQ Report

17% Utilization

0 Derogs

3 Inquiries

5 Total Accounts

AAoA 1 Year

Crossing my fingers hope I'll get approval for the gold card. My only other cards are a quicksilver capitol one $300 SL

Cap one platinum Secured $200 SL

UPDATE- penfed gold was DENIED for no recent installment loan -_-

Congratulations on your Penfed approval. They may give you another PCR instead of the gold card since they only gave you $2000 SL on your first PCR. They have been known to do this in the past.

Awesome! I'm in the same boat as you. I just got 2 Penfed cards. Approved for the gold first right away and then went for the PCR and that went to review but the next day I was approved. Good luck to you!

Oh well, you got a good card to build on. Use it and make your payments for a while and PenFed will give you whatever card you want in the not-too-distant future.
