I joined NFCU a bit over six months ago, getting a secured card with a sl of $600. After the third statement they gave me $400 more, without having to post any additional deposit. Now, just past my 6th statement, they have graduated me to an unsecured $2k limit. I got on live chat and converted my card to a a Platinum and that gave me a 1% lower interest rate. I asked chat if I could go ahead and request a CLI at this time, on my new product, but she advised me to wait 3-6 months. Had it not been for the $2k CLI u got, you would have been able to request one. My nRewards didn't get an additional increase at graduation so I requested one and was approved. Give it 6 months and you should be golden for another increase.
