New to NFCU....Should I apply for CC & LOC... UPDATE!

I got accepted today for NFCU membership....Question is should I apply right away for the flagship and LOC or should I wait a week or two.....

Thanks! I went ahead and applied for both and got the wait 1 day messege on both apps....bummer...we'll see what happens....

You will probably receive a message in about an hour with an approval for the cc. The NavCheck may take longer.

I did my refi while I was on the phone doing my membership. As soon as I set up online banking I did the pre-approved cash rewards CC. 1 day approval on the refi, instant 20k approval on the CC.

Today I got my approval for the NavCheck loc for the full $15,000 Yaaaayyy!....but as hard to believe as it is, my CC flagship approval is still pending...hopefully it comes through by tomorrow, keeping fingers crossed!

You applied on 04/01 and they approved on 04/08??? took them 7 days? and CC still pending after 7 days???

Well... good news! today I got the credit card approval for $1,500 for the goRewards visa, lowest CL of all my cards, so I decided to follow Creditaddict's advise and sent a secure message to have the CL recon (asking for $25,000), an hour later they responded with a counter offer of $5000. Not bad, I think I'll wait 3 months to ask for another CLI... Thank everyone! and Thanks Creditaddict!
