So, I was talking to @K-in-Boston (well, he was talking, he does that a lot) about applications and WF came up (His Amex peeps gonna be sad when they realize cheating happened).

I tell dudebro to not apply, he will get denied.

Well, he applies and gets $30K.

Okay, now we feeling" stupid ... But also we're having *hold my 🍺,👛, and🔑 ..I shall not be outdone by that amateur..

Well, so it happens that I was outdone.

Approved for $18,000.00.

On a useless scale (as far as card is concerned) from 0 to Justin Bieber, we're in Celine Dion theritory.

At least I'm still prettier, funnier, and all that other stuff than KiB. I think.

Whatever, approval is approval, right???

Congratulations on your awesome approval! You're still a Gold Medal winner in our eyes even if my starting line was 66.6% higher. I "fake gardened" for the longest time in years to get this notch. The couple of hundred bucks SUB won't be useless for either of us; we may even be in Bryan Adams territory. (I'm aware that the Canadian government has apologized on numerous occasions.)

I am not sure if they pull 8 or 9, 8 is 785, 9 is over 800. Single EX pull

Many new accounts, two most recent ones from November. Have Propel that largely sits unused. Approval for Propel was lower, $12,000 I think.

That's an important distinction. This was my first WF card. So $18k+$12k=$30k. Put that way, we have equality.

They give me preapproval splash screen for this everytime I pay mortgage, but I likely won't ever bite. They score they give me is EQ Fico 9, so I guess that is what they use.

Directly, yes, but indirectly EX murdering perfectly good accounts before 10 years after closed is real cause of AAoA embarrassment. EQ and TU could stand new account hit and stay dark green. Not so with EX.
