First Post!! Navy Federal Credit Card Instant Approval 18k

I received an email tonight to pre qualify. To my surprise, I was pre qualified for all CCs. My credit score isn't the best, high 580s with an annual income of $81,000. My utilization is also about 80%. NFCU must be in the giving season !! This card would certainly help with my high utilization right now.

Thas Navy for you. Welcome and enjoy! FYI that prequel is equivalent to playing Pick 2, your chances of being prequaled and approved are about the same lol.

wowwww... beautiful.... congrat... You do deserve all this... How long you have been a member with NFCU? Do you have any other account with them like checking, saving, money market, personal loan, etc...very unusual for any lender to extend this much credit limit out of gate with this score, but then we are here talking about NFCU....Regardless, very happy for ya....

Congratulations! I'm blown away by some of the approvals I've seen with those scores, especially the credit lines. Because of my BK, I'm sitting here biding my time on my recently graduated NFCU card which is now at $2k, because I either must wait for 6 more months, or don't know if I can apply for a cli or different product yet, but I think I've gotta wait, right?

Nice! I just got the same approval. I went with the GoRewards. Fuel prices and my daily lunches alone were the selling features for me. The only other card I was considering was the AMEX. But I was a little reluctant with my scores JUST recently skyrocketing. I didn't want to shoot for the moon and get shot down.

I'm roughly in the same base pay range as you. I'm wondering if they're focusing more on that to determine their SCL.

I was pre qualified for all of them but I went with the cash rewards. I kind of hate I didn't go with the go rewards.

I hate I didn't go with the Go Rewards card. I was skeptical because I had got a denial last year and just went with the card that I thought was easier to get. I'll definitely be applying for the Go Rewards next. The Go Reward card offers a little bit more and maybe by that time my score will be higher.

I've been with them for about 3 years. I have a checking ( direct deposit ) and savings account.Trust me, I'm shocked as well. My credit took a big dip during Covid but happy that they took a chance with me 🙃.
