CHASE Auto CLI - WOW

After having my Amazon Rewards Visa card from CHASE for more than 8 years CHASE finally gave me an auto CLI and i really had to double read the email to believe it lol. Increased from $500 meh to $20,000. Looks like my lucky day haha

WHOA!! That's an astronomical increase! No wonder you read and re-read the e-mail to believe it--I would, too. Congratulations! That's just amazing.

Have you done anything out of the ordinary lately with this card, you know, like using it a lot more than before? I'm just wondering what might have triggered not just an auto-CLI, but a GIGANTIC auto-CLI!

I do use it every month to max and pay it off before statement generates. Have been doing that on and off but recently i did apply mortgage with CHASE which initially they approved but then backed out saying the property does not meet their loan criteria since it is a mountain property or something (anyway that got resolved with mortgage from local bank). Also recently got massive increases in BOA card so that might have triggered them. Also no CC inquiry for last 1.5 years or more.

What did Amazon negotiate with CHASE?

There has been discussion that Amazon has renegotiated the contract with Chase for the Amazon card offerings. Speculation has been that this has opened up lending from Chase on those products, as there have been recent reports of higher starting limits and more generous CLIs on the Amazon cards lately, as well as bypassing 5/24 (which I'm not sure whether the Amazon cards were ever included, but some have reported getting approved over 5/24 lately). It has all been speculation, though.

Holy smokes! Grats on the hefty CLI! It's interesting, this is the second simillar post I've seen today regarding crazy big Chase Amazon Prime CLis. I think the other one was $500 to $17k (after being denied any table scraps forever).
