What a strange product this is. Works like a card, but opens an installment loan once you use it.

Got a preapproval letter in the mail. Took the bait; filled out some fields; it said I was not eligible for a loan but instead for their card. Was dazzled with the $7,500 limit so I took it. They only verified my email address and my phone and I was in.

Good luck to anyone else hoping to get in. If you tell them you are self-employed they lower your offer, for example, from $7,500 to $2000. Correct that error and they raise it back to $7,500 while in the application process. Rate was pretty high for me, about 21-22%. It seems like a good emergency loan option, though, to have available until or if needed.

on a side note they have been known to suspend the approval while they seek paperwork and POI.
I was instantly approved and then they hit me up 3 times for POI. Stubs twice and then 2 years of returns. I told them to cancel it. It was silly for a 1

Wondering you said if you put self employed they lower the offer. Correct that error and it went back up. How or what did you "correct " it to.
