USB Platinum approved, $2400 SL :(

Applied on Sunday, instant approval.

TU8 score was 772. Nine inquiries, four in the last year.

I applied for the card for the 20 month balance transfer offer, but the small credit line isn't going to do us much good.

My Cash plus has a 6k line, is a little more than a year old, and I expected better.

Oh well.

Congrats on the USB Platinum card approval too. I know USB can be stingy sometimes. Hopefully it will grow for you. Perhaps use it for a smaller transfer if you have one.

NFCU did me dirty just like this. Lol. I ended up having to split my BT between the new account and an already existing card.

i would apply for a CLI online - or call them

I got a $10k limit for my USBank Cash+ - applied for a CLI the next day and it doubled to $20k

and since then an SP for another $4k after 12 months

i know this sounds unorthodox, but it has worked for me 3 times so far

explain what you are going to use it for - they will likely work with you

( i have done this with Amex (doubled limit) - USBank (doubled limit) and just did this with Comenity Payboo(added $2k) this morning)

I dunno if telling them that you want enough SL to get them to hold a 0% BT for a year will work, though.

They do pull SageStream, which is like looking through your junk drawer. Nobody knows what crazy things are in there.
