Approvals March 20 and 21 applied from Prequal pages.

Truist $9000 (highest ever limit!)

Amex $1000(im in! Albeit on training wheels)

Dps on Truist (EQ SP) and

Amex (Ex and TU HP)

I am assuming Amex pulled my TU because of the age of my accounts. I probably would have got a higher limit had my account ages been older and they only pulled my Ex

FYI was extremely worried with Truist because of a few threads here where a few double dippers hadn't got their cards yet so I didn't get my hopes up, waited to post here until I had my "your cards on its way" email which I received Saturday!

Oh! Was also approved for Discover It on February 2nd after Prequal, for $2000, which was my highest limit.

Was also sadly denied by PenFed for Power Cash after being a 2 month member with checking and savings.
My EQ9 was 733 util 1%

reasons for denial were....

• Length of time accounts have been established
• Lack of recent installment loan information
• Length of time revolving accounts have been established

• Too many accounts with balances

my OS card had a $127 BAL out of $1450

my Disco had just cut with a $840 out of $2000(I know high but overall Util is still only around 1%)

no other balances on my VS pink card, Cap One Plat1 or Sezzle. Should I recon PenFed? It can't hurt right? What should I say? I just want a chance, I'd be happy with $500 to get in the door! I just switched one of my checks to them last month and the first Direct Deposit of $4200 monthly will be on the 31st. Should I wait till the Direct deposit hits my new checking account?

Congrats! As to PenFed I wouldn't waste the time. They're known to stick to their original decision more times than not. I was denied with pretty much the same score (730's) but a much thicker file for the same reason as to amounts owed lol. My total UTL at the time was 3% and that was only two cards where it was a 0% APR for 12 months purchase. I called and explained that and even offered copies of those two statements showing that and also showing I was making much more than minimum payments so that it wouldn't pay off sooner even and they said didn't matter and unless something else had changed majorly with my reports that a loan officer wouldn't change the denial.
