I contacted the EO on Monday to see about getting a CLI on my converted HSBC now Cap1 card. Although the increase is not what I requested I was still able to obtain a $300 increase which now brings my TL to $1000.

The young man was very nice advising me to try again in approx 6 months or when some major changes happen in my credit report.. ie: pay off a card or get balances really low. I can appreciate his honesty so I'm happy.

Do you know if it was a soft or hard pull? I have been trying to decide what to do with my old HSBC card and was thinking about a CLI.

I do use the card heavily and carry a small balance since it's now the highest TL
