B&H Payboo SCT approval and CLI, plus Apple and Ollo CLIs

It's been a while since I last checked in here! I had added a fair number of new tradelines and scored some SP CLI's in the back half of 2021... and I also had a bit of setback by biting off a little more than I chew with expenses. But, I got all my ducks in a row and have paid down accumulated CC debt substantially over the past few months! Still have a lot to go, but I'm in a much more manageable position now. Anyways, y'all aren't here for that -- you wanna hear some success stories, dontcha?

I'd finally gotten in with Apple last fall with a $900 SL to partially finance a new Mac Mini. I use it for my Apple One subscription and a few purchases throughout the month, always PIF everything outside the installment balance. Goldman Sachs wouldn't budge on the CL when I requested a couple months ago (citing recent inquiries) but I hit 'em up again a couple weeks ago and they offered up $500 to take me to $1400! Not a huge CL but it doesn't need to be yet... it'll get there, so I'll just keep doing as I have been.

My Ollo card had a $1500 SL just out of my BK7, then auto-CLI'd to $2000 around a year later, and then it stayed like that... I figured I was tapped out at $2k but didn't pay it much mind. I did end up taking this card near limit a few months ago but I paid it down to about 25% UTIL this week and they rewarded me for the effort with a $1500 bump to $3500!! Very nice for a rebuilder card, I think I will keep Ollo around for a while longer. Of course I don't advise running up a card to near-max as a CLI strategy, but I guess it worked out in this case.

I'd been getting pre-approval emails from B&H for their Payboo card and didn't pay it much mind until I was browsing MF and read about people landing decent SL with SCT approvals! The itch for a SP approval got the better of me, so I put some camera gear into my cart and ran the application -- instant approval for $1800 SL, with no pull confirmed! I made a $600 purchase to qualify for the 12-month financing, with plans to pay a portion down right away when I set up the account. Yesterday my card arrived in the mail, so I set up the account, paid $250 right away, and then... recalled how some people had success getting a CLI with Comenity accounts right after setup up their online accounts! I've tried this before without any luck ("We need you to show experience at your current credit limit," they say), but I figured why not? Hit them up for the request, and BOOM $1500 bump to $3300! Since I love me some tech gear, I can see myself making good use of this card in the future.
