MGM Rewards Mastercard Approval

I went to stay at the Park MGM in Las Vegas about a week and a half ago for four nights and had a really great time. My only regret was not charging everything I spent at MGM properties to my room or actually got my physical MGM Rewards card to show when I paid for shows, food and drinks. I don't really gamble but I spent a lot on other forms of entertainment. I love that this is the first place I've ever stayed where they sent me a coupon less than a week later saying "Come on back and pay 30% less than last time." I saw that the MGM Rewards Mastercard gives you automatic Pearl Status and had a $250 sign up bonus for $5,000 in spend in the first six billing periods that's only available to applicants until April 21st. I really do see myself going to Vegas a couple of times a year, at least, going forward. It's a really nice change from rainy Seattle and it's just a quick 2-2.5 hour flight, less time than it takes to drive to Portland. The card has no annual fee or FTF, which makes it a decent international travel card. I'll keep the Pearl status with MGM Rewards as long as the card stays open. I'll do the minimum spend for the bonus then just use it when I'm in Vegas to accrue as many points as possible and hopefully get comped rooms and all kinds of other loyalty benefits in the years ahead.

I apped today. Instant Approval for $15K. 761 Experian. 5% Credit Usage. 13 inquiries.

Now I'm going to harrass my friends to go with me on a trip to Vegas in the next couple months

Park MGM is a great property because they made it 100% non-smoking. If you want a little more upscale try Mandalay Bay or Bellagio. Unfortunately they have sold the Mirage to HardRock so that will be changing soon. Mandalay Bay has an amazing pool though.

Yeah the smoke free aspect of the Park MGM and the quality and variety of their restaurants were my favorite things. Then it's super central to The Strip so you can visit everything there pretty easily. Can't wait to stay again!

We must've missed one another because I was also out in Vegas a week and a half ago for my 40th and stayed at MGM Grand. The weather was perfect!

I have the MGM Rewards Mastercard and the Pearl Status is nice. The bonus is great too and usually with the Pearl, I have regular offers for MGM properties that include a resort credit and slot dollars! I believe the resort credit is $200 at Park MGM if I remember correctly. I only had a $100 for MGM Grand but it came in handy for food and beverage.

It had been nearly 12 years since I went to Vegas and I had forgotten how much I missed it! I might also make myself a 1-2 time a year regular visitor. Glad you took the MGM Rewards MC plunge. Congrats on your approval!

I go to A/C once a year on my birthday but this year my birthday fell on a holiday so i will be going in the near future instead. I play blackjack but i used to do poker tourneys. not texas holdem which i think a chimp could learn to play but a thinking persons poker, omaha hi/low. however since i became disabled i cant sit for those marathons so i switched to blackjack. i was good at poker, my late girlfriend used to look at my face and say she couldnt tell wether i was winning or losing.

Anyway i love the borgata which is an MGM property. i use their comp card which comes with an automatic level of pearl and a special logo if you show a veteran id at the promotions booth. free parking and some other perks.

i have 12 bucks carried over from last year that maybe i can add to and partake of the incredible buffet. i won 700 last year.

If you gamble those emails to come back become free stays . I just got back as well . This trip was free as will the next one be . I also received about 500$ in meals for free from my tour of Vegas steak houses haha . The mgm card was bestowed upon me at my local mgm property here in Ohio and it really does help if you care about casino status and perks .

Yeah, I think I usually spend like $100 on machines and could probably do a few hundred playing Pai Gow Poker next time I go. I read you just need to present your MGM Rewards card to the floor boss if you're doing table games. If that, along with what I spend on food and drinks, entices them to invite me back for discounted or free rooms and more credits, you better believe I'm going to take advantage! I already got $200 from booking with my Amex Platinum with this last trip and a $100 food and beverage credit I used at Eataly. My partner will get around three months off this winter, so I know I'll be open to going back more frequently.
