Up the Ladder! AMEX Blue Cash Approved.

After waiting out my 5yr 1 month post BK timeout for AMEX. I was going over my last 3B pull and noticed the HP for AMEX was gone from my denial last year. They denied me for too many new checking accounts. Yeah 1 account with NFCU. Seriously! Went on the pre-qual page and it all lit up. Which one. So thawed EX. Went for it. You got 1 more chance AMEX or take a hike. All the motions were going smooth. Just waiting for the next excuse. Your approved! Ok then. Glad you changed your mind. Now a Blue Cash Preferred card is on its way. Hey only $1000. But it's a foot in the door. Wonder if they'll put Member since 1980's when I had the old green card. Good way to start the week. Still climbing the ladder truck to the nozzle!

Congrats! It's a great feeling being back in with AmEx if you're a fan and they did put my original "Member Since" date on mine (all of them Green/Gold/Platinum/BCP) after being Blackballed for 19 years.

Grats! Long wait ... proved that credit moves at a "snails pace" ... and I can say, it took me eight years to get cards that were not starter cards!

Congrats on your recent approval! I've been itching for an AMEX, but I keep going back and forth between BCP and BC. I'm thinking I may pull the trigger soon. Stories like these just give me the confidence to just do it...

Congrats on the Approval! Don't worry too much about the starting limit of $1000. I also started at 1K in July, got upgraded to $3K in about 4-5 months, and just got an auto-cli to $8K this month. They can be generous if you use the card a lot.
