FNBO CLI - Max Limit w/SP?

I phoned in and asked if I had any SP CLI offers available and was told I did.

I usually receive 2-3K. This time, the offer was to increase by $1K bringing my CL to $25K.

Does anyone know if $25K is the max CL before a HP is needed?

Congrats on the CLI.

Yes, the max they can offer via SP for most customer-initiated CLIs is $25K. FNBO can auto-CLI beyond the $25K threshold, though. However, if you want anything higher than $25K, you'd need to weigh whether a HP is worth it -- no guarantees either.

I have six cards with them. For a while all six were at 25k. Out of the blue, they gave me an auto SP CLI on my Sun Country Visa from 25k to 38.5k. I was carrying a BT on this card for some time. I have been unsuccessful at trying to get any SP CLI's on any of my other FNBO cards. They have all been stuck at 25k. I even carried a BT on another card for about a year thinking that would sway them, it didn't. Their BT offers are very generous. I usually get the 2.9% for life.

In addition, I did try for one of their cards through the SP preapproval process. It said preapproved but when I applied, I was denied. The subsequent letter basically said I was at their max exposure. I've never taken a HP again with FNBO.

Grats on your SP move up

You can move limit around with FNBO if you have more than 1 card.

Yes, their BT offers are incredible! I receive an offer twice a month!

I didn't know that. I have an Evergreen with them as well I was thinking about closing. I may ask them yo transfer the limit if I decide to do so.
