Off Amex Black list finally!!

Chaper 13 back in 2011 which I burned them for $2100. Been getting pre approvals on their site since 2021. I decided to pull the trigger since I have zero inquries. They sent me an email to call them. They verified me over phone after calling me back to insure my number was correct. Approved for Gold Delta sky miles with SL $1000.. well it's a start! I know the limit is small but the bigger picture is I regained control of my finances after a couple of tough years! I'll wait another 3 mths or so and go after another NFCU card and get back in the garden!!

Your SL is exactly where AmEx puts the bottom of the barrel. You barely squeezed in. However once you consider the past the bottom of the barrel is definitely a solid place to start.You will be able to make friends with AmEx if you keep it nice and steady from now on. Do not forget that in 91 days you can ask for 3x your credit limit. It might be a stretch but worth a try.
