Congratulation...did u hv any other a/c with sofi prior to this card, any new a/cs in 6/12/24 months?

SoFi Credit Card in Security review AFTER APPROVAL

Time line - Got approved last week

added to the Apple Pay

Used Apple Pay on 5/29 (prior to the physical card arriving and activating ) - Got declined

Got the card today 5/31 - Activated it - try to use it - declined

Called Customer service - they said - your account is in security review, and you cannot use the card until the review is done, they want to make sure its you that applied. it can take 2-4 weeks.

I ask "How will i know if it is good to use ?"

Answer - "Call us in about 2 weeks and we can tell you the status or you will the account is just closed"

OMG ??? really - Definitely not American Express Platinum Customer service line. The more experience i have outside of AMEX, the more I LOVE AMEX.

Has this happen to anyone else or am I the lab rat ?

I am rarely BLUNT in my replies, but come on, 2 weeks?

Are they sending a credit check blood sample to the Lab?

It doesn't take that long for even a physical tube draw result. I feel for ya on this one.

do you have an update? similar situation happened to me.

applied and got approved right away. added card to apple pay

used one time approved. second time sent fraud alert (approved) was told can try transaction again. still denied.

called in and was told the account would be under review for fraud application.

this was since february this year and its "still under review"

cant close the account or anything.
