Chase Sapphire Preferred $7800 SL - Approved!

Hello myFICO! After being in the garden and achieving a Gold Spade, I noticed that the CSP has an elevated 80,000 point SUB, and I have some planned spending coming up, so I figured that this would be a good time to app for this card which is a goal card. So I unfroze my reports, logged into Chase, filled in my info, watched the wheel spin, and...Another Chase instant approval!

I was approved for a CSP with a $7800 SL and 20.74% APR! As usual for me, Chase pulled Experian which was a 756 FICO 8, which didn't drop as a result of this HP. This was a cold app with no offers in my Chase account and was 4/24 at the time of the application with 5 inquiries on Experian. My reported income is $33.6K and this brings my total exposure with Chase to $18.3K which is the highest of all lenders. I will be putting a $3K tuition charge on it so I will have no trouble meeting the minimum spend this summer. Don't worry, I have the cash to PIF the tuition! Overall, Chase has delivered once again and I am pleased with this result and was well worth the Gold Spade I just traded in, and another goal card has been checked off! Back to the garden I go!

Thank you @Yasselife ! This was a cold app; I was not prequalified for the card unlike my Amazon approval in October.

I remember from your siggy that the CSP was a long-term goal card for you, and I'm sure that great SL with the elevated SUB felt great as soon as the approval page popped up!
