Citi Premier Approval

Got approval to apply for a few cards as loan is all way through last steps for new house(no more verification is being done) from mortgage officer of bank I am using as final checks were done and two HP's for two cards wasnt going to destroy my high 800 scores and put me in different bracket, but they did a SP check on the 26th to make sure my debt scenario didn't change for closing on 30th. With their blessing appllied they pulled EQ and instant approval. Was a bit worried on this one, but 80k typ = $800 for 4k spend couldnt turn down. Not a bad starting limit for citi.. Thank your citi and going to like you bonus

@Remedios took your advise on card 1... what is the 2nd card I am awaiting verdict on.. Chase or US bank... hmm. Like I only got hit by single pull from citi and whomever other one is I applied for. Use to getting doubled here in TN. FL address mixed things up for the better!

What were your data points? Score? How many inquries and new accounts did you have?

US Bank, I have no idea who they would pull for you, but less than 2 HPs is their comfort zone.

Scores 840 plus . 3 inquires in last two years on eq. 3 accounts in last two years. Decent 6 figure income

Congrats on your Citi Premier approval . . . I hope to one day get back in good favor with Citi after burning them in mid-2000s. I've kept my Macy's card that's up to $25k limit but it hasn't upgraded to the Macy's Amex and I'm wondering if it's because I burned them.
