BOFA and Chase Approvals

A year ago, I could only get approved for secured credit cards. Couldn't even get approved for a car, even with a downpayment. Thanks to this board, people have diverted me to the right direction towards my credit goal. All my secured cards are now unsecured.

Today, I tried applying for the Chase Marriott and BOFA Virgin Atlantic credit cards. Chase was instantly approved for $7000 which is my highest CL to date. I got the 30 day message from BOFA but called in and the person i spoke with said I've been approved for $5000. A week ago, I applied for a car loan and was approved for 2.99 APR.

AMEX is the only one who has not trusted me with a revolving, yet. I do have the Green which has been put to good use and have earned decent points. I'll probably try again with AMEX in 3 months or so. Gardening for now.
