Interra Credit Union Approval

Just wanted to share data points for approval with Interra Credit Union, based out of Goshen IN.

Member since 2017, closed all accounts during bankruptcy. Caused them a $60 loss on checking. Before that had zero other loan products with them. Re opened and paid back loss in 2020. They pull TRANSUNION/FICO CLASSIC (08).

Personal Data Points:

Score was a 677

Utilization 5% $4,034 / $79,500

Bankruptcy: Discharged 09/19 Ch7

Credit Age: 1y 3m, Oldest 8y 1m, most recently opened lowes this month.
Total accounts: 67 / 33 open / 34 closed

Hard Inquiries: 73 😖

Income: $10,000 monthly

DTI: I think is around 16%.

Approval 1: Elite MasterCard $7,500 limit, 0% for 12 month then 14.25% as well as the 10,000 point signup bonus with $2,000 spent.

Approval 2: Had a personal loan as well the refinanced the next day. For $4,500 at 9.99% 60 months. Should be aware they charge a $99 loan fee. Personal loan was at 15.74% with another CU.

I want to add they can be very picky. They hate new accounts. I have no activity on any of my accounts since opening besides my initial deposit. They are extremely friendly. I would rate them conservative. They wouldn't even give me a share secured loan before now. Maybe they have a new underwriter in LOL. Either way I'm very happy. They use to do soft inquiry's now they are hard pulls.

Since the bankruptcy have had 7 auto loans paid and closed, as well as mortgage paid and closed. I've done around 10 sunbit loans as well. Pretty solid rebuild. The inquires can slow me down but usually don't once it goes to manual review.
