US Bank Cash+ #2 approval

Hi all! I wanted to share some DP’s for my second Cash+ approval and help others out after learning so much from a lot of you folks. I opened my first Cash+ two years ago now. US Bank recently sent me an offer for a Cash+ with a SUB of $200 on $500 spend and 0% intro for 15 months. This prompt me to come here to see if a second Cash+ was possible. After finding some DP’s on others approvals I figured heck yeah I’ll add an additional two 5% categories to my cash back setup. I was shocked when they instantly approved me for $13,000! This makes it my highest limit card so far and is #12 in my setup after my rebuild starting in 2014. Income is around $50k. They ended up pulling Transunion. FICO score is 801 with 2% UTIL and 3 accounts showing a current balance. New revolving account status - 0/6, 1/12, 2/24. I’m going to be trying for the Citi Custom Cash in a couple of weeks with another SUB of $200 on $750 spend as I have some spending coming up that I want to take advantage of. It doesn’t hurt to have an additional 5% category in my setup too!

I tried to do AZEO but ended up forgetting to make early payments and forgot to not put any spend on certain cards around closing dates. Clearly that didn’t matter in my case though. I’m going to be trying for the Citi Custom Cash in a couple of weeks with another SUB of $200 on $750 spend as I have some spending coming up that I want to take advantage of. It doesn’t hurt to have an additional 5% category in my setup too!

Would you mind sharing some data points about your number of new accounts? Specifically, how many new revolving accounts have you opened during the last 6, 12, and 24 months. It's well known that US Bank is sensitive to new accounts, so your data points would be appreciated.

Oh yeah I totally forgot to add that in there! I'll make an edit and add those DP's. On my transunion I had 0 inquiries with 0/6, 1/12, 2/24 for revolving accounts and an auto loan within the last year putting me at a total of 0/6, 2/12, 3/24.

Thanks for including the data points for new revolvers! I'm currently at 1/6, 1/12, and 2/24 and was planning to apply for Altitude Reserve after I reach 0/6. That would match your stats at time of application.
