Chase Amazon $20k approval @ 9/24 and IIB !

Wow, Amazon must have some persuasive clout over Chase. I thought it would be at least a year before I could get back in with Chase after IIB in 2012 and being at 9/24 right now. But that $200 bonus and Prime deals for stuff we actually need pushed me over the edge, and I attempted a Chase Amazon Visa application yesterday.

Instant approval for $20,000 ! After lifting my jaw up off the desk, I proceeded to the checkout lane with my newfound $200 bonus in hand.

Chase did a double pull on EX and EQ. EX8 was at 762 (and still is even after the HP). EQ was at 748.
My new revolving accounts are something like 1/3, 1/6, 2/12, 9/24.
No scoreable Inquiries on EX. One scoreable Inquiry on EQ.
First Chase account since the BK7 back in 2012.

The previous day before my app, my oldest DD applied for the same card. She got the 30-day message and was disheartened. But she got approved the next day for ~~$5000~~ $18,000 (which prompted me to try my hand).

Chase did a double pull on EX and EQ. EX8 was at 797. EQ was at 786.
Her new revolving accounts around 0/6, 1/12, 2/24.
She already has a CSP and CFU.
No scoreable Inquiries on EX. One scoreable Inquiry on EQ.

ETA: DD's Chase account shows her new Amazon card was bumped from $5,000 to $18,000 after she got the approval notice!

Amazon is the largest online seller and yeah they told Chase what they wanted in order for them to keep issuing their cards.
