Kohl's LONG Journey CLI

The end of the long Kohl's CLI journey lol. Got the card 3 years ago when I started a serious hard rebuild. Opened with the normal SL of $300 where it sat for almost the entire 3 years. In all fairness though I only used the card 1-2 times a year and then only for $100 or less online. Denied for a CLI a couple or three times during period of 2019- early 2021 even though scores and credit were good by esp 2020 and 2021. Then bam starting very late 2021 through yesterday I had gone from $300-$2500 via 3 CLI in that 7 month period. Yesterday just because I could lol I hit it one last time to take it to this cards max of $3,000. Take that Kohls lol. Now if Target would just move my 3 year old Redcard off of that $300

I was at Kohl's this weekend, you pretty much need the max SL on that card, prices have been a tad high recently :-)

Hats off to you for that limit of patience. I closed both those cards within a year because im no count at babysitting toy lines for years until they up their starter lines little by little.

Congratulations!!!!! I promise if it weren't for the fact I spend between $100 - $500 monthly on Target, I would have gotten rid of them and that $300 limit 🙄 I literally had to put shopping on another card because I hit my limit with them and they don't take more than 2 payments in a week 😒

I feel your pain Got my Kohls card in December 2015 with the $300 limit. No increase the first two years I think and then they gave me a boost the 3rd year to $700. Had been at $700 since 2018. Rarely use the card except for emergency gifts. Used it this year to buy graduation gifts and paid it off again. Saw the cli link and hit it just for the heck of it and they surprised me by increasing it to $1500 last month. It still won't get much use other than holiday emergency gifts.
