SavorOne Approval - post BK7 Petition, pre discharge

So...yeah, it looks like Capital One may approve you with a pending case. Filed BK7 back in June and my 341 meeting is tomorrow. Anticipated discharge is going to be some time in early September, although I hope it will be sooner as it's a straight forward no-asset case!

$3K limit. I'm absolutely flabbergasted.

Some data points:

Two Capital One cards were IIB. No original Capital One tradelines show on my credit reports.
Once I filed, basically ALL of the collection accounts that I had were deleted from my reports. Balances on all other accounts (like my car note and student loans were zeroed out. My reports basically show I have no debt at the moment.
Used their preapproval tool and three cards were offered: QuicksilverOne for Good Credit, the SavorOne for Good Credit, and Platinum Mastercard. I chose the SavorOne since it seemed like starting limit on that card would be at least $1,000 (from ancedotal evidence gained from here, at best).
20.99% APR, lower than the rate normally offered of 26.99%. No annual fee.
EX FICO is 585, with the other two FAKOS I get access to ranging from 570 - 590. TU FICO provided from an Apple Card denial I got a couple days ago was around 565.
Got hit with the triple pull as expected.

Off to rebuilding. I thank you all now and in advance

Capital One has a secret inside connection to BK filers apparently.

They had me a preapproval before DC and it was approved after.

Congratulations on being flabbergasted with the approval which will surely assist your rebuild efforts.

But I just can't not say something here. I've never filed BK. I've had a Cap1 QS card with a whopping $1500 CL for several year, never gotten a CLI, auto or otherwise. I have a 100k+ income. I have under 5% utilization on $200k credit lines. I have a perfect credit report, not 1 negative. My EX FICO 8 was 780, my TU FICO 8 is 815. I've been approved for (2) 15 cards, (1) 10k card, and just today a 20k card.

Several weeks ago I had a pre-approval with Cap1, app'ed, and got approved for a Savor One for $300. What in the actual F?

Yikes..so much for my theory of the SavorOne card offering a higher starting limit. Capital One is an odd duck, but considering this is technically the third chance (in my lifetime) they're giving me, I'm grateful.

Good luck. At least they're doing them by phone for now, which helps bring the anxiety down a couple notches.

I read your other post about the $300 limit on Savor One and it still baffles me. I'm rebuilding and Savor One is on my list of wanted cards but I am not quite ready to apply yet. I'll make a decision on whether to wait longer or not after I'm back to AZEO (hopefully that will be on this next report in early Aug).

Capital One is one odd duck for sure. I have their Platinum for almost 3 years with SL $300, I asked for cli they gave me $100 every time. All the sudden pre-approved for a 50k auto loan in the mail. And an auto cli on platinum to $2100. My credit hasn't changed much since last year. I wonder what could've triggered their generosity?
