BMO Harris Cash Back - Instant Approval from Mailer

I received a mailer from BMO Harris and decided to apply. I do not have any other banking relationship with them. The mailer also mentioned a SUB of $200 for $2K spend. After the system pulled TU and thought for a little bit, it came back with an approval for $14K.

Everyone loves pulling my TU for some reason. As for "new" accounts, I believe I'm over 5/24.

So happy 4 ya..but only posting approval and getting congrat wont help anyone nor would serve the purpose of this forum in any form....do u hv any datapoint to help us decide our own plight? Plz

You might want to re-read the sticky thread at the top of in this forum if you have any concerns regarding my understanding of this forum's purpose.

But for those who would like some stats, my TU08 in my signature is current, 798. Income is $160k and UTIL is 1%. I haven't pulled my TU lately, but IIRC, it reflects 5 HPs.

As previously mentioned, I had no prior banking relationship with BMO Harris. From approval posts I've read, the mailers seem to lead to success, but they otherwise seem to value banking relationships.

As I read the thread header it stated instant approved from mailer.

With this in mind, BMO had already done a preliminary background credit pre-screen and may not apply the same credit requirements as a cold walk-in off the street evaluation for credit.

Do appreciate the data points however!

Wonder if you could product change this to their 2014 Diners Club Master Cards? Just kidding!
