USAA Rate Advantage Visa Platinum Card Approval - $6000 SL - 14% APR

I've been lurking around for a while but this is my first post as I think it's time for me to contribute. It was this forum that legit motivated me to apply for this card in the first place. A little bit of backstory is important with this one, so bare with me.

Unfortunately, I burned USAA back around '08/'09 when I hit a rough patch. It wasn't an astronomical amount of money ($2.2K) but a loss is a loss. I always assumed that my goose was permanently cooked. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago I decided to do a little bit of research about re-establishing a relationship with them where I came across this forum and people shared how they were able to get back in the ecosystem after serving 7 - 10 years in USAA Purgatory. As nervous as ever, I reached out to a CSR and low & behold, my account was 100% unrestricted and I have access to all of the services I did back then. No flags. No restrictions. I **bleep** near cried because I've developed a whole new appreciation for second chances over my decade long credit building journey.

Sob story aside, here's the important stuff.

Credit Bureau Pulled - Experian (734 - BankCard 3)

AAoA - 3.7 years.

Oldest Account - 9.7 years

Inquiries - 1

Starting Limit - $6,000

APR - 14%

Accounts - 7 reporting at time of approval

Income - $55,000

Utilization - 1%

No Derogatories/Defaults/Lates

Misc - 3 new accounts in 60 days

I know these cards aren't the most competitive in the world but I just wanted something with a (relatively) low interest rate in the event I want to carry a balance, so this fit the bill. Hope someone found this useful!
