Got first credit card approve - AMEX gold

Hello everyone,

I was trying to apply AMEX gold today and got instantly approved. I am new to credit card esp AMEX system (still in learning curve)

little background, i came to the state last year and decide to open my checking with BoA and apply their Secured Customized Card (as i have no SSN yet) Then my spouse added me in his chase checking account also AU on his CFU and Prime Card.

after 3 months BoA increased my limit 200$ and i called them they said my card is partially graduated (which to me and representative are Suprised) i also got credit score by BoA app with TU (720-760) another 2 month they auto increase my CL again by 200$. I just need to update SSN with them so they can graduate me (representative said) which i plan to do on this Wednesday at branch (i called them but they cannot update via call) i called chase too to update my SSN so they can start record my EX and EQ score (but they refused to do via call and say they don't need SSN for report to credit company) i dont have EQ EX credit line, i already call them cuz they can pull my report.

So i tried to apply for amex gold and got approved instantly and now i have no idea What should i do next 🥲🥲

You don't have to do anything. Just enjoy your cards, and pay your bills promptly.

Amex Gold is a really great card. It's my daily driver by far. I think you'll love how naturally you can accumulate MRs just by buying and eating food 🤣 Just remember it must be paid in full each month. Congratulations and welcome to Amex!!!

i got an update, so i went to BoA to update ly SSN today and ask for graduation of my secured custom reward card, the REP first say i need to wait it graduate automatically (which not like the first REP i mention in my post) so i ask can i ask for manual, he said yes and boom! My card is graduated plus my CLI increased double.

i went to chase to open my checking and update SSN too, and the banker said i got pre-approved for several cards and i was surprised but i ask my spouse to send me his referral url so he can get point, i applied it went under review so the banker call to credit department for me, then boom i was approved CFF (1800$ CL) i knew it not much but as my first personal credit card, my spouse say it a legit amount.
